Shokase Pictures LLC is an Entertainment Production Company that focuses on developing engaging and memorable content for the big screen, the small screen, and your computer screen.

We believe that the cornerstone of a memorable entertainment experience is having strong central protagonists. From concept, through production, and into post, we focus on who's telling the story and why our audience should care. With an independent mindset and a focus on streamlined budgets, Shokase Pictures has a track record of delivering memorable content at a fraction of the cost.

Shokase Picutres' background is in broadcast television production but has since expanded to include the creation of films, commercials, and immersive online content. As of 2011, Shokase Picutres is diversifying its creative portfolio and currently has several graphic novel and documentary projects in development.

Shokase Pictures' founding member has worked on multimillion dollar projects for all the major US broadcast networks and left television to create content that would not only be profitable but that would also encompass subject matters close to his heart.

The focus of television has never been on creating good content but on increasing their ever diminishing margin from advertising. This led to what I call disposable entertainment; and although inexpensive shows like "Jersey Shores" has allowed networks to stay afloat, it has been at the expense of quality programming. With so much competition from new media such as Youtube, Playstations, and the like, mainstream media has to refocus itself on what their audiences want and not what their shareholders want. Networks like AMC and Syfy have the right idea. Audience will go where good content is. It is my firm belief that audience creation/rentention and thereby advertising sales go hand in hand with quality content.
